The Ruff Collar

“A Gola de Rufos” (The Ruff Collar) is a piece in earthenware, manually glazed using the traditional manual dipping technique. It is adorned with a wool felt collar, inspired by the 16th-century ruff model, handmade by a specialized Portuguese artisan. The wool felt collar is dry clean only. In this box, you can store treasures, relics, sweets, and everything else you would like to keep well-protected.

Packaging
The box is made of micro-fluted cardboard and wrapped in a paper sleeve, which features an illustration and a summary of the text “A Gola de Rufos," which tells us how it went from a bib to a straitjacket and settled firmly on noble necks, made exclusively for this piece. Contents in Portuguese and English.
